ORIGINAL WORKS ART FUNDRAISER COMING SOON
Dear Parents,
We’re excited to announce that we will be partnering with Original Works this Fall, the original art-based fundraising company! Students have created artwork at school so you can have your child’s art
reproduced onto a variety of keepsake products ranging from Mugs to Magnets. Ordering will be done online and will take place in October/November. The products make great holiday gifts for family members as well as wonderful keepsakes for the students. Orders will arrive at school before winter break. And the icing on the cake is our school earns a profit from every order placed! These funds go directly to the art classroom to fund items such as paint, clay, construction paper and much more!!!
Complete details on how to order will be sent home soon, so keep an eye out for your personalized flyer!
Thank you for supporting this unique and creative program!
Sincerely,
Nicole Rivard

COUNSELOR'S CORNER
This month the counselor lessons will focus on teaching how to be an upstander and work toward creating a positive school climate where everyone feels welcome and respected. Students will focus on how our differences make us unique and should be celebrated.
As we move into November, it is also a good time to focus on gratitude. At this age, children are exploring the world around them, and introducing gratitude can have a powerful impact on their growth and happiness. Practicing gratitude helps children focus on the positives, which can boost their mood, improve friendships, and increase resilience. When children recognize and appreciate small, positive moments—like playing with a friend or enjoying a fun activity—they build an optimistic outlook. Studies show that gratitude fosters empathy, reduces stress, and strengthens self-esteem, all of which help children feel more secure and motivated.

FALL BOOK FAIR
Our fall book fair will run Nov. 11-15! The money we raise from each book fair funds holiday books given to all students, grants for new teachers to stock their classrooms and other items such as a mobile microphone system for school events. If you'd like to volunteer as a cashier (it's easy, we promise!) or to help set up or tear down the fair, please sign up for a spot below:

The fair is open every day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will stay open until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13. It also will be open during the Veteran's Day assembly.
Thanks as always for your support! If you have questions about the fair or volunteering, please email Leah Woodbury at leahwoodbury@gmail.com.
PLCs foster a culture of continuous improvement within our school. By working in teams, teachers can identify challenges, brainstorm solutions, and implement new strategies. This collaborative approach ensures that we are constantly striving to meet the needs of every student.
