Second graders participated in a graduation ceremony from the Law Enforcement Against Drugs (LEAD) program on Tuesday. The LEAD program is a forty-minutes-a-week for ten weeks program in which students learn about mitigating risk factors and promoting resiliency by developing personal traits such as goal setting, decision making, and conflict resolution. Deputy Chief Michelle Small, Corporal Nick Green and Officer Brett McIntire presented each student with a diploma and T-shirt. Second grade teachers helped students develop written pieces about what they learned from the LEAD program, and an award was given to a student in each class for the best overall essay. In addition, a trophy was awarded to the class who turned in the most homework assignments during the course. Congratulations to Mrs. Brown's class for earning the trophy!

Mark your calendars for our annual Valentine’s Day Family Dance! Friday, February 7th, 5:30-7:30pm at the Bath Middle School! Our craft and calm down area will be back due to popular demand in the cafeteria while music and dancing is going in the BMS gym. Can’t wait to see you all there in your Valentine’s Day best!
