Principal's Message
Good evening, Bear Creek Families-
This past week was filled with wonderful opportunities to celebrate our students and their accomplishments. Our Spring athletes competed throughout the week and represented Bear Creek well. FFA students had their final meeting and awards banquet. We recognized over 180 of our seniors at Senior Awards night on Wednesday. Over $700,000 in scholarships have been earned by our seniors. I encourage our students to see Ms. Ford in our College and Career Center to learn about the many opportunities available post high school. She is an excellent resource, and provides a wonderful environment on campus for students.
As we enter the final stretch of the school year, I wanted to take a moment to update you on some important events and announcements for the month of May.
Upcoming Events:
May 13-17; Spirit Week
May 17; Goodbye Rally
May 17; Powder Puff Game 7pm
May 27th: Memorial Day - No School. Take this time to honor and remember those who have served our country.
May 31st: Last day of classes.

Seniors
Students and Parents:
Senior prank season is upon us, so there are a couple things that we need to keep in mind. Under no circumstances should a prank damage any property, have the potential to hurt any people or animals, or be in violation of education code. A common prank involves squirt guns or water guns. These, along with any imitation fire arm, are not to be brought to school. Any pranks or ditch days are not school sponsored events, although the intentions may be for fun, there can be serious consequences.
Seniors who participate in graduation
Seniors who participate in graduation must meet Lodi USD graduation requirements and demonstrate good school behavior. Students suspended from school may be placed on a 45-day social probation. Students can also be placed on social probation for excessive tardies. This means students put on social probation within 45 school days of graduation and graduation practice will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony or other activities. (Board Policy 6145)
We are 19 days from graduation.
