Ask Not What Your Union Can Do For You, Ask What You Can Do To Help Your Union!
General Membership Meeting #1 February 19, 2025
You are invited to attend our meeting next week.
Please be informed that a location for our meeting has been secured.
We will meet next Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 5:15 to 7:15pm at The old Kenmoor Middle School located 2501 Kenmoor Drive, Landover, Maryland 20785.
The old Kenmoor MS is currently home to Templeton Elementary School, so don't be confused when you arrive and see that name in the hallway, just come on in and report to the cafeteria. We will have refreshments, but I don't know how much to buy. Please help me out by answering the poll, so that I can better gage how many wraps, chips and drinks I need to purchase.
Your presence is needed and required in order for The House Administration hear your voices, as our negotiations team continues to fight for a higher COLA, more steps on the pays scale, and among other things, differentials for pay for all of the extra work and extra hours you all currently provide daily to PGCPS for free!
We are still in negotiations and this is your opportunity as a union to be heard and make it clear that you want to paid for your extra time and duties just like the teachers who are salaried employees just like you.
Jeffery Parker, Executive Director ASASP
See You Next Wednesday @ Old Kenmoor M.S. @ 5:15pm in the Cafeteria
