Hey All! We will be making a serious go at winning the iRun for Kids participation award this year! All race lengths count - 1K, 5k, 10K, 15K!!!
If you have friends, family or have older kids that attend a school who isn't pushing for the participation win have them sign up as "North Albany Elementary" in the school supporting space to help move us toward our goal of getting the most runners and walkers!
CHANGES TO MILEAGE CLUB THIS YEAR!
To help support our kids and our intended increased participation in the iRun, we will be starting Mileage Club next week!

Illness Guidelines
Illness - When students are ill, they should stay home for 24 hours with the following symptoms:
Temperature above 100.5-must be normal without any fever reducing medication for 24 hours
Diarrhea within a 24 hour period
Severe, painful sore throat
Vomiting within the last 24 hours
Teaching your children about hand washing is extremely important. Help them to wet their hands, place soap on their hands and scrub both sides, in between fingers and under fingernails for about 60 seconds (teaching them to sing happy birthday to themselves while scrubbing can help). Then they should thoroughly rinse under cold or warm water.
If your child is ill or absent for a specific reason, please call the school office that day to let us know. Students who are tardy need to check in at the office and get a pass before joining their class.
Do you want to be a volunteer?
1. Fill out the online background check on the district website (click the link below)
2. Come to a scheduled Volunteer Orientation or make an appointment with Mrs. Sowa to receive a volunteer orientation.
It's that simple! However, both need to be done before we can have you in as a volunteer.
