The Rhodes Ahead
Jan. 24, 2025
From Mrs. Rhodes
Happy Catholic Schools Week!
I remember telling my husband that I don't know how to raise my children in the Catholic Faith without a Catholic Education when we were deciding about kindergarten for our oldest. My husband did not grow up Catholic but never once did I hear anything about the decision to do so. In fact, I heard much of the opposite. We both agree that the investment could not have been better spent.
This week is about celebrating the partnership with parents for the education of their children to prepare minds for the future and souls for eternity. Archbishop J. Michael Miller, C.S.B. was a part of a podcast that will break down The Holy See's Teaching on Catholic Schools. It is worth a listen at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6dH_nl5wzA.
I encourage you to find some time this week to be learn about true Catholic Education in some way this week. We are at a pivotal time in our country when Catholic Schools are called to more. All involved in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic School need to be on the same page for the future of school.
As we celebrate this week with many fun things, let's remember that there is more to our mission. We are putting hearts, some may be little, on a collision course with the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We are happy to partner with you and appreciate your support. It's a great day to be a Cardinal!
Strength in Surrender,
Kathy Rhodes
SHOJ Enrollment
Tuition has been set after much prayer with a desire to be good stewards of tuition and parish support. For in parish tuition (those active parishioners who are growing in the 5 foundation stones). It is as follows:
One Student $ 5450
Two Students $ 8565
Three or More $ 10,660
We understand that it is a commitment to pay for a Catholic Education and want everyone who desires it to have access to it. We encourage those who need it to apply for financial assistance.
It is that time of year when we will start the enrollment process. Please note that all current students are rolled into next year's enrollment and your FACT's account will collect the fees around Feb. 20. You need to notify us in advance if your plans have changed. Please email myself or Cindy if you need to change it.
It is also that time when we will be collecting names of siblings you might want to enroll. Especially those entering Kindergarten. Please go into your admin account and log in. Click the button to enroll for next year and add your additional student. As always please make sure that your information is correct and complete.
