RoBee Report
Week of April 28th

Principal Welcome!
It's Georgia Milestones Week at GIA!
Dear Global Impact Academy Families,
It's that time of year again! This week, our students will be taking their End of Course Assessments, and we are excited to see them demonstrate everything they have learned. I would like to highlight a few important points as we prepare for this week:
- Test Start Time: Testing will begin promptly at 9:05 AM. It is essential that students arrive at school at this time so we can escort them to their designated testing locations and ensure they are logged in. Unfortunately, students who arrive late will not be permitted to test, as we are committed to starting on time due to the schedule constraints.
- Rest and Preparation: Although our students are maturing into young adults, it is crucial that they are well-rested prior to their testing days. Adequate rest will allow them to think clearly and perform to the best of their abilities during the assessments.
- Testing Schedule
- Monday, April 28th – American Literature Part 1
- Tuesday, April 29th – American Literature Parts 2 & 3
- Wednesday, April 30th – Biology
- Thursday, May 1st – Algebra Concepts & Connections
- Friday, May 2nd – U.S. History
- School-Issued Devices: Please remind students to bring their school-issued devices, as personal devices will not be permitted during testing. Ensure that their devices are fully charged, as we have conducted several device checks to confirm that all students have operational devices for the assessments.
- Electronic Device Policy: No cell phones, smart watches, glasses, or any other electronic devices are allowed in the testing room. These items must be turned off and placed at the front of the room. Failure to adhere to this policy may result in disciplinary action and the invalidation of test results. Additionally, hats and hoodies will not be allowed during testing.
For those students not participating in testing, this is an excellent opportunity to connect with their teachers and complete any outstanding assignments as we approach the end of the school year. Let’s finish strong!
If you have any questions about the upcoming spring test administrations for the Georgia Milestones, feel free to reach out to Mr. Johnson at johnsond34@fultonschools.org or by phone at 470-254-3900 ext. 43933.
Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us provide a successful testing experience for our students.
With gratitude,
Johnathan Hall
