This Week's Happenings
Our first-grade students had an exciting time celebrating Johnny Appleseed Day! They dove into a variety of activities, exploring history, graphing, reading, STEM and science concepts all tied to Johnny Appleseed's story. From learning about his contribution to apple orchards to graphing their favorite types of apple foods, students applied their lessons in fun and creative ways. As part of the celebration, each student made their very own Johnny Appleseed-style headband, which you can see in the photos below. Learning really is delicious!
