Art Rutkin Elementary
In-district student transfer requests for Art Rutkin Elementary will follow the process detailed below for grades 1st - 5th for the 2024-2025 school year. Kindergarten transfer requests will be considered in August 2024 to allow priority for resident boundary enrollment. A certain number of students will be approved at each grade level based on the projected enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year at Art Rutkin Elementary. This number varies by grade level due to current enrollment. A lottery for Art Rutkin Elementary in-district transfer requests at each grade level will take place on May 13th, 2024. Applications received by Friday, May 10th, 2024 will be included. Requests not selected on May 13th, and those received after May 10th, will be placed on a waitlist for consideration in August. There must be room in all grade levels where siblings are involved. All families who live outside of the Art Rutkin attendance boundary will need to provide their own transportation should a transfer request be approved. An additional lottery may be held for any remaining open grade levels in August. This includes all kindergarten requests. A separate transfer request will be required for transitions to middle and high school as students move to each level. This process aims to ensure a fair and organized in-district transfer enrollment process for all families regarding Art Rutkin Elementary. Questions? Contact your child’s school office, or Mr. Kingery, Art Rutkin Elementary principal, at 503 431-3500, or jkingery@ttsd.k12.or.us.
