Dr. Boeger's Notes
Thank you to all who made last week's events a wonderful success! We had great turnouts at our 6th Grade Orientation, Parent Open House, and PTO Dine Out Nights!
Please take a moment to read through this week's eNote with reminders to ensure a smooth and safe start for our students. We have included important drop off and pick up information, how to access bus details, and reminders for meal payment.
Students, please remember to bring your iPads charged this week each day!
As we look ahead to this week, we know that a new year can bring excitement, energy, sometimes worry, and emotion. Please take time to reach out with questions, to support a friend, and to check in on one another. Your family might be like ours with several new moments! We just dropped off our oldest at Mizzou for year two, drove back from Florida to drop off our daughter at Eckerd College in St. Pete Beach, and our youngest starts freshman year at LHS. And all three are playing soccer this fall! The Boeger Family is right there with you with all the feels of the new year.
Here's to a great school year. We are "CLEAR FOR TAKEOFF!"
Take care and talk soon,
Dr. Boeger

Download FirstView App for Real-Time Bus Information
In partnership with the district’s transportation provider First Student, Lindbergh Schools uses the FirstView app to communicate bus information with families in real time. This includes student pickup and drop-off times, and any delays or notifications.
Download the FirstView app from the Apple or Google Play store
Click the yellow button that says “Tap here to add a new student”
Make sure the fields are set as follows:
State = “Missouri”
District = “Lindbergh SD”
Student Number = In this field, please enter your student’s 10-digit Student Number, which is located on the “Student Profile” page in Infinite Campus
It is important to note that bus routes change from year to year, so your student’s bus stop and pickup/drop-off times may not be the same as last year. Families are required to sign up for transportation services annually.
Please check your student’s bus stop information on Aug. 19 to confirm any updates or changes before the first day of school.
iPad Information
First, we want to send a huge shout out to our District Technology Department. They were able to distribue iPads to 94% of our students! Thank you for your hard work and to families for coming up to pick up devices. For students who did not pick up over the summer and newly enrolled families, please have students head to the Library on the first day upon arrival. The technology team will have your iPads ready to go and get you to first hour quickly.
Reminders from Nurse Illig
REMINDERS FROM THE NURSE'S OFFICE
A Message from the Nurse About Student Illness and COVID-19
As the school year is starting, the school nurses would like to send reminders regarding student illnesses, and when a student should stay home from school. The district’s Health Procedures webpage includes helpful information to determine whether your child should stay home from school due to illness. The district exclusion list has been updated to meet current recommendations.
If your child will be missing school, please remember to contact your child’s school to make them aware. Our school’s attendance line is: 314.729.2420.
Lindbergh Schools recommends reaching out to your health care provider if you have questions regarding COVID-19 exposure or illness. In addition, our district follows the COVID-19 Isolation and Precautions recommendations laid out by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
As always, we are here to help and wish all of our families a safe and healthy school year. Thank you, and stay well.
Sincerely,
Jessica Franklin
Lindbergh Schools District Lead Nurse
Technology Fee Information
If you have a student in grades 4-12, please check your email for a message from Lindbergh Schools Technology Department regarding enrolling in Technology Accident and Loss Protection.
As a district, we will help students learn how to protect their devices. However, we are realistic that accidents happen. To protect families from costly repairs or loss, Lindbergh Schools offers accident and loss protection for our schools’ blended learning devices for students in grades 4-12 who take devices home.
Please review the Blended Learning Technology Handbook for more details.
Students who have not enrolled annually in our accident and loss protection plan will be charged the full cost of repairs or loss.
Student Schedules
Student schedules and teacher assignments are visible in the Infinite Campus Portal. Please note that student class assignments and schedules are subject to change through the start of the school year. Please check your student’s information on the Infinite Campus Portal prior to the first day of school for final class assignments and schedules.
Students, please note that we plan to have Launch Day activities that will include steps for students to log in to Infinite Campus. You may be able to see your schedule, but please note that there could be slight changes up unitl the first day of school.
Finally, please note that our administrators, counselors and staff have worked hard this summer and in the spring to develop our schedules and programming. Please note that we do not honor requests to change teams. Should you see a major error in your schedule, please email your grade level counselor.
Bell Schedule
Here are key points to remember about the middle school schedule:
Give yourself some extra time in the morning the first week. Consider the later time and potential traffic in your commute.
Students may arrive and enter the building at 7:35 AM. If they arrive before 7:45 AM, students must report to the cafeteria.
Buses will be dropping off after the high school in the morning and also arriving at dismissal after picking up high school students. Note that we may need to dismiss by intercom the first week.
