Another Outstanding WHS Theatre Performance!
What a great performance by our WHS Theatre program. From amazing dance routines and vocals, to set design and acting, it was outstanding. Thank you WHS teacher Ken Lydy and the cast and crew for sharing your talents with the community. The next production will be April 26-27!
State Tournament News!
Congratulations to the Lady Cane Bowling Team for making it all the way to the Division 1 Final Four at the state tournament. WHS junior, Kylie Fisher, finished as State Runner-Up! Way to go, Lady Cane!
We're also very proud of WHS wrestler Josiah Puller. Josiah made history this season as the first WHS freshman to make it to the state wrestling tournament!
Project Trust Camp 2024
The magic of Project TRUST was evident during our last camp of the school year! Students spent time making new friendships and special memories. They were open-minded and showed a willingness to participate in all of the activities. The goal is for them to bring the positive Project Trust message of inclusion, acceptance and kindness back to Wilmington Middle School.
Each camp has an outstanding group of WHS students that help as camp counselors. They brought so much positive energy, laughter, insight, lots of singing and tons of fun to this camp. They made lasting impressions on our middle schoolers. We are proud to be able to have such a positive and dedicated group of students that are willing to help the next group of students learn how to have a positive impact on their school.

Reminder: WCS Closed April 8th
Remember that WCS is closing school on the day of the eclipse (April 8th). Regardless of weather conditions the day of the event, we want to err on the side of caution. State and local emergency management agencies have provided information about traffic and service issues that could have a significant impact on that day. Teachers will provide students age-appropriate content in our science classrooms about this event.
