May/June Blog post - What are you reading this summer?
Click here to read about Summer Reading! Click here to listen to the podcast. Summer reading is a pastime for many but also an opportunity for others to engage with a book, a thought, a character, or an idea and dive in. For the final blog post of the year we will share a bit of what our staff and students are planning for reading this summer and also provide you with some resources to consider your own plans for reading this summer.
Instrumental Music Sign-Ups Happening Now!
Hello Parents,
Last week the 5th and 6th grade band and orchestra performed for the students at each of the elementary schools. Part of this included a presentation of the instruments that they have an opportunity to learn to play in school next year. The instrumental music program is available to students who will be in grades 4-6. We hope that everyone will sign up and take full advantage of all the Pentucket has to offer!
Here is a letter that explains what we do and how to be a part of it!
Here is a link to the Google form to sign up.
Please reach out to me at aguerriero@prsd.org if you have any questions.

Summer Visual Art Offering for Grades 5 and 6!
Attention all 5th and 6th Graders~ Check out the PRSD visual art offering this summer. We have exciting weeks planned for young artists entering grade 5-12. Explore ceramics, painting, and get instruction to improve artistic skills while creating personal, one-of-a-kind artwork.
Marcia Nadeau is a PRMHS art teacher with 27 years experience teaching. She uses art as the vehicle to empower young artists to find their voice. In the art room students' individuality is highly valued, mistakes are embraced and successes are celebrated. If this sounds fun, I hope you can join us. Wishing you a creative and fun-filled summer!
