Join us in collective advocacy at EL Network, where we uncover powerful strategies to build ELD programs that ensure bright futures for our multilingual learners. We will navigate the evolving landscape of ELD Programming, Instruction, and Assessment. Together, we'll develop strategic plans to implement these changes, forge strong alliances between districts to share resources and innovative ideas, and engage in enriching professional learning experiences. Let's work together to guarantee high-quality educational opportunities for every English Learner.

At our first EL network meeting, your district team will engage with the following topics:

1. Career Readiness/ Career Focused Education for English Learners (including guidance for OSTC programming, and exciting ways to utilize tools such as Xello and Pathful)
2. Grading for English Learners: Explore our new OS Guidance and PL opportunities.
3. Continuous Improvement for ELs: Get a preview of upcoming guidance designed for advocacy for EL Excellence at the program and district level.
4. Panel - Oakland County ELD Program Model Shifts: Are you looking for new and innovative ways to shift your K-12 ELD Program structure to ensure EL success? Three Oakland County districts will share their journey in designing their K-12 ELD Program, sharing successes and ways they are addressing challenges as they move towards implementation.
