Superintendent's Message
A Note From Dr. Zito
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As the school year draws to a close, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and partnership throughout this academic year. The last day of school, June 17, 2024, is fast approaching, and with it comes the promise of summer—a time for relaxation, rejuvenation, and reflection.
This year has been filled with remarkable achievements, growth, and resilience from our students, educators, and families. Together, we've navigated challenges and celebrated successes, always with a shared commitment to our children's education and well-being. As we transition into summer, I hope each of you finds time to unwind and cherish moments with your loved ones.
While summer is a time for fun and leisure, it's also an excellent opportunity for continued learning. Encouraging your children to read during these months can significantly benefit their academic progress and foster a lifelong love of reading. Whether it's exploring new worlds through novels, discovering facts in non-fiction books, or enjoying the latest comics, every page turned contributes to their growth and imagination.
Safety is another essential aspect of a happy summer. Please remind your children to stay safe while enjoying outdoor activities. Whether they are swimming, biking, or simply playing with friends, a few simple precautions can ensure their well-being. Sun protection, hydration, and understanding road and water safety rules are key to a fun and secure summer break.
In closing, I wish you all a peaceful, relaxing, and wonderful summer. Take this time to recharge, create beautiful memories, and prepare for the exciting year ahead. Thank you once again for your continued support and dedication to our school community. I look forward to seeing our students return in the fall, refreshed and ready for new adventures in learning.
Yours in education,
Dr. Zito
