Supervisory Aide Wanted
Are you or any of your friends looking for a part-time position that allows you to sleep in and get home early? We have the job for you! Silverbrook is looking for supervisory aides that assist with lunch and recess. Doesn't this sound fun and interesting? Take a look at WECAN (you can keyword search Silverbrook and filter Assistant/Aide and apply. Not only do you get to spend your time with children, you will work with outstanding Silverbrook staff and receive a sporty blaze yellow safety vest to wear while at work. We look forward to working with you!
Forensics
The Silverbrook Forensics Boot Camp is underway! The 4 session bootcamp is a time for 5th and 6th graders to learn more about what forensics is and if it might be a right fit for them. To put it simply, forensics is competitive public speaking/performance. After the Thanksgiving Break, any 6th grade students interested in joining the competitive forensics team are invited to come to an informational meeting after school on December 3rd. Parents of interested 6th graders are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to attend a PARENT informational meeting at 6PM on Dec 5th (an invite/reminder will come home with your child from the student meeting) to learn what it means to be part of this awesome team of performers. Please, email Ms. Neuser at aneuser@wbsd-schools.org with questions.
