Grizzly Community Update
Friday, June 6, 2025
Congratulations to the Class of 2025!
Introduction
Hello Grizzlies,
I spent the last week or so reflecting on what our school has accomplished this year and I want to share my "Grizzly Legacy Letter 2024-2025" with you in our last community update of the year school year.
A Legacy of Trust, Growth, and Belonging
This year, something powerful happened.
After more than a year preparing for our WASC visit, the committee didn’t just validate our hard work — they told us they’d love to be part of our school. That kind of compliment speaks to the culture we’ve built together: one where students feel seen, families feel heard, and growth is happening every day.
From rising CAASPP scores to 2,600+ AP tests taken, from wellness check-ins to creative real-world learning — our students stepped up. Through Safe School Ambassadors, Den Reps, and thoughtful feedback, our staff and students used their voices to shape a better school.
This year, we began building structures — like a more intentional Student Support block — that reflect our commitment to every student’s academic and personal development. And underneath it all, something deeper shifted: trust. Our community is believing in what we’re doing — and in each other.
As we look to next year, our staff will keep leading with compassion and collaborating with purpose. We believe every student can find or create their space here. And we’re ready to explore a bold challenge: How do we deepen personal connection while embracing the tools of the future?
Thank you for being part of this journey. We’re proud of the foundation that what we are building upon — and even more excited for where we are heading in the future.
Have a great summer break, and we will see our returning Grizzlies in August!
Respectfully,
Mr. Ball
