Woodside Family STEM Night
Friday, Feb. 23
Doors open at 5:45 PM
Mad Science Presentation starts at 6 PM
Join us for a family night filled with exciting presentations and hands-on stations from Mad Science and Hamilton's very own Charger Robotics teams.
Registration required - REGISTER UNTIL THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15
$7 per student ($21 family maximum). Registration closes Thursday, February 15. Woodside Home & School is offsetting the cost of the event. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Woodside Needs New Home & School Board Members for 2024-2025 School Year!!!
The current board members of Woodside Home & School having been serving the Woodside Community for many years, some as long as 5 years. As our kids graduate to SSI we are no longer allowed to remain on the Woodside Home & School. Unfortunately, without a Home & School Board, events like those listed below disappear.
If you are interested, have questions, want to know more or aren't really sure, we are here to answer questions. Rest assured new board members will not be left to figure it out alone. We will gladly show you the ropes if you are interested in a position.

At our March 11 public meeting voting will be held for the 2024-2025 school year Woodside Home & School board members.

Home & School (Comprised of The Board & Many Wonderful Coordinators) is responsible for coordinating events such as Fun Run, Trunk or Treat, Culver's Nights Out, Family Admirals Game, Family Bucks Game, Book Fair, Family Movie Night, Scrips Gift Cards, Spring Fling, STEM Event, Pastries with Pals, Family Fun Night, Staff Refreshments, Staff Appreciation, Activity Fair, Marcus Movie Passes, Woodside Wear, and School Supply Kits.
They also sponsor Field Trips, 4th Grade Recognition, Classroom Magazines, Classroom literacy, All School Read, Gaga Ball Pits, Playground equipment, STEM Room items, Artist in Residence, Outdoor Learning Spaces, Guest Speakers, Teacher Grants, Woodside Scholarship Fund, and Bus Driver Appreciation.
HELP!!! Home & School Needs Volunteers.
We need parent volunteers in order to have these events and make them successful.

Family Fun Night - many volunteers needed to help Coordinator

- Classroom Raffle Baskets (parents do baskets, you coordinate)

- Volunteers (organizing all the day of volunteers)
- And More; i.e. police/fire, DJ, Etc.

We a looking for 4-6 volunteers to help lead coordinator brainstorm theme and coordinate one day each, NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY; we will help you.

A makerspace is a collaborative work space inside a school, library or separate public/private facility for making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools.

Who is Home & School
Woodside Home & School is a parent/teacher group which helps fund raise and coordinate exciting events for the families of Woodside Elementary School part of Hamilton School District located in Sussex, Wisconsin.
Through great partnerships between parents and staff, Woodside Home and School enhances the children’s learning environment by providing support to staff, students and the entire school program; organizing events, enabling communication throughout the school community, and providing financial support.
It is the mission of the Woodside Home & School Association, a parent/staff organization,
