4-H Fun Fair Coming Up Saturday June 24th
There are many ways you can help support 4-H and be a part of this year's Wayne County 4-H Fun Fair this coming Saturday June 24th at the Wayne County Fairgrounds. All funds raised from the Fun Fair will benefit Wayne County 4-H youth development programs and events.
Donate Cupcakes, Cookies and Small Cakes
We are in need of donations of cupcakes, cookies and small cakes for the Cake Walk at the Fun Fair next Saturday. This would be a great opportunity for any member taking a Cake Decorating project to practice! You could bake and decorate a cake and then use it as one of the activities in your project book! Even if you're not in the cake decorating project this could be a fun family activity to do together. Please contact Stacy Riley via text message at 330-435-6261 if you would be willing to provide any of these items.
Help Wanted: Volunteers Still Needed
Volunteers are still needed to work games. Please contact Jen Norman at 330-201-4189 if you would like to work a game for a 2-hour shift.
Purchase Raffle Tickets and Support the Silent Auction
There are over 150 baskets and items that will be showcased in the raffles and the silent auction! A HUGE selection of nice items - something for everyone! Raffle tickets will be for sale at the event for $2 each or 6 for $10. The silent auction preview will be Friday, June 23 from 6-8pm at the fairgrounds. We will open the bidding on Friday night, in case you can't make it Saturday! You can also preview the Fun Fair Event Catalog online listing companies and individuals that have donated items and financial support to make the Fun Fair possible.
Join in the Cornhole Tournament
There is still time to pre-register for the cornhole tournament. $20 per team of two people via early online registration. $30 per team at the event. Tournament starts at 4:00 PM on June 24th. Contact Molly Johnson at 330-465-7018 for further details.
Please join us Saturday, June 24 for food, games, prizes and FUN!! We hope you will all come out and support the Wayne County 4-H Program!
