Classroom Planning for 2025-26 school year
It is that time of year when we begin thinking about placement of students into classrooms for next year. If you have concerns to share, please complete the Student Placement Information Form.
This is an optional form - Please only fill this form out if you have concerns to share or if your child will not be attending Elm Creek next year. Deadline to complete form is Monday, March 31st.
Yearbook order deadline March 28th
We are excited to offer school yearbooks to our families again this year. Please read the below information carefully and note the yearbook ordering deadline is March 28th.
School Yearbook - $10
This 40-page yearbook is available to all students for purchase and includes all VPK – 5th grade level photos, student clubs, class projects, learning and some of our fun events throughout the year. The cost is $10 and the ordering deadline is March 28. We will make every effort to take photos of students who missed picture day so they are included in this book. School yearbooks may be ordered online or via a paper order form.

· Paper Order Form (cash or check): Please print the attached form and fill it out. Paper copies are available in the school office. Place the completed form and money in an envelope and turn it in to your teacher. Checks should be written to Elm Creek Elementary.

Grade Level Book - Complimentary
All students will receive a complimentary book featuring only their grade level class photos. Students who did not have their photo taken on picture day will not be pictured in the grade level book.

K-2 Family Reading Night
Family Reading Night is coming up on Thursday, April 3 from 5:00-6:30pm. This is a fun family activity that is hosted by EC staff for K-2 students and their families. There will be activities, book giveaways, and lots of reading fun. While it is geared towards K-2 students, older siblings are of course welcome to attend.

Recess
Due to the melting snow, mud and puddles outside, we will be doing recess on the blacktop and playground only when conditions are wet and muddy. This means all other areas are off limits. Students who get sent inside requesting a change of clothes due to playing in mud and puddles will be calling home and will not be seen by the nurse. Our health office must prioritize students with medical needs.
