We are excited to welcome returning and new students and families to our Hawks community. This is the first of many Hawks Happenings (HH) you will receive throughout the school year. The purpose of this HH is for you to save the dates for upcoming events that will help with the transition to the 24/25 school year. New this year:

• New design for our Hawk mascot (Thanks Kate Viands) (This is a replication of one of the hawks that visited our school in June - see photos above)
• New motto - Belong, Believe, Be Your Best
• Ready, Set, Fly event for our new families. During this event on 8/20 (RSVP needed-see below), we will demonstrate the arrival and dismissal process, review School Dismissal Manager, have a school bus available for your children and discuss other logistics and procedures for our new families. We look forward to seeing our Hawks in the next month as August is right around the corner.
