Jessicah is always showing our school values and school habits for learning. She goes above and beyond to help out her kaiako and other students in her class. She is a role model for everyone in the Pukaki whānau.
Konah Adams (Tunohopu 2)
Konah always shows aroha, manaakitanga and awhi for all. His friendly demeanour and positive attitude makes him a role model for his peers. Konah is nothing but a thoughtful and kind friend to all, who demonstrates to others how to make positive choices.
Zach Jeffries (Te Rangiiwaho 5)
Zach, you are always showing our school habits for learning in all areas of school life. You are a strong role model for your peers. Tauke e hoa!
Jayden Bush (Hurungaterangi 2)
Jayden, it is fabulous to see you working alongside your peers more and more each day. You are beginning to share some of your creative thoughts and ideas with them and they enjoy learning about them. It was fabulous to see you lead our whanau in karakia displaying courage in front of a large audience.

Consistently participating fully in class activities and tasks, showing respect and consideration for other students. You model respect and self management and encourage other students to make positive decisions and choices.

ADVENTURE RACING CHAMPIONS
What an awesome day out with our Adventure Racing crew!
After a mixture of mountain biking, cross country running, orienteering, and completing mystery challenges, they were the champs!

We have an awesome week planned that includes rock climbing, archery, target shooting, bush walks, orienteering, team building and confidence activities.
A typical "Kiwi Outdoors" camp with an emphasis on mountain safety and bush survival skills.
Planned and run by local teacher Todd Burton and based at Aongatete Outdoor Education Centre, this one's going to be awesome!

Jiraiya has stood out these past weeks as a student who consistently shows kindness to others, helping others to understand work and looking out for them. He has such a positive attitude towards his school work and is a great role model.
Uriyah Wharehinga (Tunohopu 1 - Hine Kaha)
Uriyah has come into our class in the later weeks of Term 1. Since her arrival she has shown respect towards her peers, teacher and always turns up to school with a positive attitude, ready to learn and try new things.
Stevie Ngamoki (Te Rangiiwaho 2)
Stevie, you show respect for others in all that you do. You are kind to everyone that you come into contact with, and always have a positive attitude. Thank you for always helping out other students and your kaiako Stevie.
Abbagail Keogan (Hurungaterangi 1)
Abbagail is being recognised for her consistent role modeling of RIS values to our Hurungaterangi whanau. She quietly does the right thing and helps others, without being asked, showing integrity. She was super disciplined during our haka waiata practises, all the while encouraging others to do the same. Abbagail will quietly share her opinions and build onto others ideas respectfully, especially during our novel study.

Harry Lane (Te Rangiiwaho 1 - Pathways / Taeotu)
Harry, you have taken ownership of your learning by working independently and solving your own problems. You work cooperatively with his peers and are always keen to help them whenever they need assistance. You are respectful and polite when engaging with students and teachers, and are an excellent role model.
