Weekly Raider
Dear Red Rock Families,
Regular attendance is key to academic success. Every day counts, and each moment in class builds the foundation for learning, growth, and future opportunities. When students are present, they engage, collaborate, and develop skills that prepare them for lifelong success.
Let’s work together to ensure every student has the chance to thrive by making attendance a top priority.
We understand that children get sick, please remember to call the school to let them know. Press 1 for the 24 hour Attendance Message Line. If a student is absent for more than 3 days, you may request for make-up work from their teachers. Otherwise, we will get them caught up when they return.
Thank you for your commitment to education!
Have a great week!

Birthday Treats
Important Notice for Our School Families:
Please help us maintain a safe environment by refraining from sending any nut or peanut products to school with your child for snacks and treats. This also includes any snacks or treats made in a facility with peanuts/tree nuts. Please review the ingredients label for “May contain peanuts/tree nuts” and/or “this product was produced in a facility that has peanuts/tree nuts.” We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the school office for more clarification. If we feel there is a concern for the safety of food allergies, the food item will be sent back home. Fry's offers cupcakes that meet this criteria.
If your child has any food allergies, please contact the school health office to create a Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Emergency Care Plan (FARE). We will also determine if your child will need a designated area to eat lunch each day. Your child’s safety is our top priority.
Positivity Project (P2)
Dear Families,
This week, our school community will focus on the character strength of Love. Love means you value close relationships with others and being close to people.
Love is shown through our thoughts, feelings, and actions toward those we care about. When we love someone, we comfort them, make them feel safe, support them during tough times, and often put their needs before our own. When someone loves us, we feel safe and secure and can be ourselves around them. We miss them when they are not around.
Love is important for our community and society. We all depend on each other for happiness and well-being. Love creates positive feelings, helping to reduce loneliness, anxiety, and depression. Without love, we can't form strong bonds with our families, friends, or communities. A world without love would be a lonely and unsafe place.
To practice and encourage the character strength of love at home, please visit The Positivity Project’s mobile-friendly P2 for Families (available in English and Spanish), where you will watch a video together and discuss a quote and three questions. Below are links to this week’s P2 for Families lessons. Click on the grade level that best meets your child’s needs.

Reading Center
As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering literacy and learning in our school community, we are excited to share with you some of our new updates to our extraordinary school library!
Arizona Tax Credit
Arizona law (A.R.S. 43-1089.01) allows taxpayers to receive a tax credit of up to $200 for a single individual or a head of household and $400 for a married couple filing a joint return for donations that benefit students in our public schools. Every dollar you donate goes directly to our school. The state puts this donation towards your tax liability—dollar for dollar—to the extent that it reduces your tax liability to zero.
Who can benefit from this law?
All Arizona tax payers are eligible. You do not have to have children in the school district to benefit from this law.
All you need to do is print off the AZ Tax Credit Form, fill it out, and bring it in or mail it with your donation to our school office. It’s that easy! Tax credit forms are also available in the school office.
Your donation lets us offer many great programs and services to students that we would be unable to fund otherwise. Thank you, in advance, for supporting our school!
Lost Item
There was a child's hat that was left on one of our buses during the Polar Express Night through the village. Please contact the front office if you attended our Polar Express night and are missing a hat!
