Dear Early Steps Families:

Thank you for joining us for our Open House last week; it was great to see so many of you! It was special to see how proud students were to show off their classrooms and their learning. I was also honored to hear parents/guardians sharing commendations of our fine staff as you exited the building. Enjoy some photos from the evening below.

Be sure to read the section of my newsletters 'Some Important Dates' and note these dates/times on your calendars. Our Cunniff and Lowell School friends may have slightly adjusted times/days. Those PreK students/families will receive newsletters from both the Cunniff Principal, Julia MacEwan or the Lowell Principal, Stacy Phelan, and me. Please be sure to review them both. Next up:

• Monday, October 14 - NO SCHOOL - Indigenous Peoples Day Observed
• Wednesday, October 16 - School Picture Day (Early Steps Hosmer, only)

• Please refer to this doc to schedule a 20-minute conference: (1) to sign up, and (2) to access the Zoom meeting links (if you selected to meet on Zoom). Your child's teacher may have already shared this information with you. You only need to sign up once. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher directly.

Directions for Families:

1. Select your child's teacher's name

2. Click on the SignUp Genius Link

3. Select the time you would like to meet with your child’s teacher

4. Enter your first name, last name, and email address

5. Select the “sign up now button” to confirm the time

6. During the selected time, please use the Zoom link provided to meet with the teacher

1. Click this Link to select picture orders using the CODE: 71624F and entering your email address.
2. As School Picture Day is October 16th, please select your order prior to that date.
