Teacher Dream Grant Deadline Approaching
The Teachers' Dream Grant will provide individual grants ranging from $500 to $5,000 to Columbus City Schools teachers to assist in improving teaching and learning in CCS. This is an excellent opportunity for interested teachers to acquire resources to support an innovative project to increase student achievement, improve social climate, and/or promote social justice.
All applications must be submitted online by 4:00 p.m. on April 26, 2024.
This is a District-sponsored grant; applicants will not need to submit a Grant Endorsement Form to apply but will need their principal’s or supervisor’s approval.

Project Lead the Way (PLTW) supports transformative learning experiences in computer science, engineering, and biomedical science for prekindergarten through grade 12 students; and professional development resources, support, and training for their teachers. PLTW provides science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) grants for elementary, middle, and high schools to implement or expand PLTW Launch, PLTW Gateway, PLTW Computer Science, PLTW Engineering, and PLTW Biomedical Science STEM programs.
Grant Name: Emeril's Culinary Garden and Teaching Kitchen Program

The Emeril Lagasse Foundation works to inspire, mentor, and enable youth to reach their full potential through culinary, nutrition, and arts education. Emeril’s Culinary Garden and Teaching Kitchen Program partners with qualified elementary and middle schools. Preference is given to schools that serve students who are middle- to low-income in rural, suburban, and urban areas. Priority schools are those with a population of 500 to 700 students; an existing operational school garden and on-site space to construct a teaching kitchen; at least 12 months of experience with experiential teaching practices; and a dedicated development staff member or committee with proven fundraising capabilities.
