Hello MP3 Families!
As we near the end of school, I would like to thank you for a year well done. It has been a pleasure for our staff getting to partner with you in your child's education. Thanks for finishing this year strong and we look forward to partnering with your family in the fall. Please look for summer communication from your SLPC within the last few weeks of school before we head into summer vacation.

Learn the basics of how to support your student while using i-Ready at home this summer. Parents will learn how to track student progress and celebrate learning successes with their child. Please bring your student's Chromebook and login so you can access their iReady progress.
MHS Freshman Orientation (June 4th @ 7:45 am)
There is an opportunity for a student tour of Meridian High School for our 8th graders on Tuesday, June 4th. The purpose of this tour is to introduce them to the MHS campus. Students from MMS and MP3 will be guided on a tour of the MHS campus by high school students.
On the tour date, students will begin their day at MHS from 7:55 am until approximately 9:15 am. All 8th graders will be dropped off directly at MHS on the morning of Tuesday, June 4 at 7:45 am. Parents are welcome to wait in the parking lot for their student to finish the tour or MP3 students are welcome to walk over to MP3 to call home for a ride if needed. Thriving Futures! Connecting our Commitments with Dr. Everett
Our superintendent, Dr. Everett will be hosting a Thriving Futures! Connecting our Commitments at MP3 on Wednesday, June 12th at 9:00 am in the lunchroom portable. Families are invited to attend this session with Dr. Everett to learn more about our district strategic plan commitments.
MP3 Family Field Day
This is a family supervised event. No drop-offs, please. Siblings and parents are welcome to join in the fun. Thanks in advance for supervising your child during this event. Since classes will not be in session, families will have access to the restrooms during the family field day.
Do you have curriculum to return?
Library returns are accepted daily at the MP3 office between 8:30 am-4:00 pm. Please include a note with your family's name and information so items can be checked back into the library. The last day to return curriculum materials is June 12th.
District device over the summer
Great news! If you are planning to stay enrolled with MP3 then you are welcome to keep your district iPad or Chromebook so you'll be ready to go in the fall.
- The 8th-grade students heading to Meridian High School will continue to use the Chromebook checked out to them.
- In the fall, the current kindergarten students will be trading in their iPad for a Chromebook.
If you are not planning to return to MP3, please let your SLPC know as well as our registrar, Monica Campfield, at mcampfield@meridian.wednet.edu. We will need to collect devices and curriculum before June 10th.
