Early Sign-Outs
We have noticed an increase in students being signed out early during the school day. While we understand that occasional early dismissals may be necessary, frequent interruptions can disrupt your child's learning and the flow of the classroom. We kindly ask that you only sign your child out early if it is absolutely necessary. Let's work together to keep the momentum of learning strong for all students!
For those picking up students for volleyball games, we kindly request that you do not arrive before 3:15pm. Arriving too early can impede the dismissal process at the receiving school, which is still in progress at that time. Your cooperation ensures a smoother transition for everyone involved.
Thank you!

Thank you from our Grade 8's:
Dear JD community,
We are three grade eight students that are speaking on behalf of our grade. We are here to say a big thank you to the amazing parents, children, and relatives that donated to our goodwill drive! We raised $504! That is so much money to go towards our Grade Eight Grad Trip to Camp Celtic and Graduation. We even had a kind person donate $5 to our fundraiser.
We are so beyond grateful for all your kind donations. We received 126 bags delivered to our school because of you all. Thank you so much!
From,
Mya, Olivia, and Nicole on behalf of the John Dearness grade eights.
