We Before Me Edition 9: October 7th-11th
Dear WES Team,
As we approach Week 9, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for embodying our We Before Me vision in everything you do. Your dedication to supporting each other and working collaboratively as a team continues to make a positive impact on our students.
Your efforts in planning as a team are evident in the quality of instruction and the way we are meeting our students' needs. When we come together to share ideas, create meaningful lessons, and collaborate, we are ensuring that every student receives the best education possible.
I also want to acknowledge the flexibility you’ve shown in balancing club meetings, intervention support, and classroom duties. Our clubs provide students with enriching experiences, and your willingness to contribute makes these programs successful.
During PLCs, I encourage you to continue internalizing lessons, discussing best practices, and refining your instructional strategies. As we implement lessons with fidelity, it is crucial that we stay committed to following through with the instructional plans and addressing any challenges that arise. Together, we can achieve great things by staying focused and aligned.
As we move forward, let’s continue to lean on each other, be flexible, and work together to provide the best learning environment for our students. Thank you for your commitment to our We Before Me vision, and for your hard work every day.
Let’s make Week 9 a great one!

Wharton ISD Elementary Nutrition Program
Exciting News: Daily Fruit for Students!
We are thrilled to continue our "Fruit a Day" program! Each day, students will receive a fresh fruit at the end of the school day to encourage healthy eating habits and the enjoyment of nutritious foods.
Here’s how it works:
- Daily Fruit Distribution: Every student will receive a different fruit and enjoy.
- Taste Exploration: Teachers will guide students in learning about the fruit of the day, helping them expand their taste buds and try new things!
- Fun Learning Activities: Teachers will also go over interactive activity sheets with the students, which are designed to educate them on the nutritional benefits of fruits and vegetables.
We hope this program will encourage students to develop a lifelong love for healthy, delicious fruits. Let’s work together to inspire our kids to make nutritious choices! A folder of fruit activities are available on WES is the Best Resource link WES Nutrition Lessons
