"Get Your Stuff Day" is here!
Lincoln Families,
We hope you’ve had a wonderful summer and are as excited as we are to welcome your students back to campus!
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we want to make sure your student is set up for success from day one.
To help with this, we’re hosting "Get Your Stuff Day" (GYSD) this Tuesday and Wednesday. During GYSD, students will be able to pick up their schedules, chromebooks, PE uniforms, and any other materials they’ll need for the year ahead. It’s also a great opportunity to familiarize themselves with the campus and reconnect with friends and staff.
We encourage all students to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to get everything they need before the first day of school. If you have any questions or need further information, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
If you have multiple children attending LMS this year and can only attend one schedule pick up day, you may go to the counseling office to pick up the additional schedules so they do not have to attend both GYSD days. We do, however, encourage all incoming 6th graders to attend their session on Tuesday, August 13th.
Get Your Stuff Day:
8/13 - 6th Grade GYSD, A-L (9AM) & M-Z (10:30AM)
Location- Auditorium
- 8/14 - 7th (9AM) & 8th Grade (10:30AM) GYSD
- Location-Front lawn
Parent Volunteers are still needed for this specific event! If you have the time, please volunteer to make this experience for our students, a good one!
We can’t wait to see our Lincoln Lions back on campus and ready for a fantastic school year!

Data Confirmation is now available for all families to complete!
What is Data Confirmation?
Parent Data Confirmation is a feature of Aeries that allows parents to update student demographics, contacts, medical conditions, view and agree to school policies, review documents, and update authorization information.
Below is a video tutorial for all families to review.
Once completed, please bring a print out of the confirmation to GYSD, confirming that you have completed the Data Confirmation process.
Our office staff will be returning on August 9th to answer questions and provide any support for this process. I've also included a tutorial video as a guide to further assist you.

New Website Coming Soon
Dear Lincoln Middle School Community,
We are thrilled to announce that we are hard at work developing a brand-new website for the Lincoln Middle School PTSA! This project has been a significant undertaking, and we are excited to share it with you soon.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your patience and support during this transition period. Porting all the necessary content from our previous website to the new one is a meticulous process, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to make this upgrade as seamless as possible.
Both Websites are Functional
Rest assured, both our current and new websites are fully functional during this transition. You can continue to access all the information and resources you need from either site.
Back to School Donations
For those of you looking to make donations, we encourage you to use the new website if possible. However, donations can still be submitted through the original website as well. Your generosity and support mean the world to us, and we want to ensure the process remains convenient for you.
Temporary Domain Information
During this transition, our new website is accessible via a temporary domain: lincolnmiddleschoolptsa.org. We understand that it might be a bit of a mouthful, but we assure you that once the transition is complete, we will move the new website to our original domain: lmsptsa.org.

We are excited about the new website and the enhancements it will bring to our PTSA’s online presence and communication to the broader community. Stay tuned for more updates as we progress with this transition. We are confident that the new website will provide a more streamlined, user-friendly experience for our entire community.

Fall 2024 Rollout
It's here - the exciting start of our Middle School Sports Program!
As part of SMMUSD's competitive sports program, student athletes from John Adams Middle School, Lincoln Middle School, and SMASH have the opportunity to try out for a spot to represent their school in up to three sports:
- Flag Football
- Girls Volleyball
- Cross Country (coed)
- Lincoln MS will have one 7th & 8th grade joint team and one 6th grade team.
- Enrollment and registration begin on August 14, 2024 at 6pm.
- Tryouts for fall will take place from mid to late August. There are a total of four tryout dates. Two dates will be hosted at Lincoln Middle School and two dates will be hosted at JAMS.
Athletes MUST attend two out of four tryout dates for the best chance to showcase skill/talent/hard work. Tryout spots are limited, so be sure to sign up right away!
