💌 We're calling on all students and parents to join in and write notes of gratitude or encouragement to any staff member or teacher. Let's flood their day with positivity and appreciation! 💌
📧 Send your heartfelt notes to murraym@sd5.k12.mt.us, and we'll make sure each teacher receives them on the big day. But wait, there's more! You can also email the teachers directly on May 6th or drop off your notes in the office with Sabra or myself. Let's spread the love far and wide! 💖
🙌 Thank you for being a part of this joyous celebration as we honor our amazing staff! Let's make May 6th a day they'll never forget! 🎈
Mrs. Nickerson is retiring!
Mrs. Nickerson is retiring!
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to shine a spotlight on one of our esteemed educators, Mrs. Nickerson, who has dedicated an impressive 27 years of service to our district. Currently teaching first grade at Rankin Elementary for the past six years, Mrs. Nickerson's impact has been truly remarkable, touching the lives of countless students and families over the years at both Edgerton and Rankin.
For those who have had the pleasure of knowing Mrs. Nickerson, you are likely familiar with her infectious enthusiasm and passion for creating memorable learning experiences. With her creative spirit, she has transformed ordinary days into extraordinary adventures, whether it be through themed dress-up days or innovative classroom activities. It is thanks to Mrs. Nickerson's unwavering dedication that our school dress-up days have become a cherished tradition, igniting joy and excitement among students and staff alike.
As Mrs. Nickerson prepares to embark on this new chapter of retirement, I invite you to join me in celebrating her remarkable career by sharing your words of affirmation, cherished memories, and heartfelt thoughts. Let us come together to honor her legacy and ensure that she departs with 27 years' worth of fond memories and well wishes.
Please take a moment to use the provided link to share your sentiments about Mrs. Nickerson. Your contributions will be compiled to create a meaningful tribute that she will treasure for years to come.
Thank you for your participation in this special tribute. Let us send Mrs. Nickerson off into retirement with the love, gratitude, and admiration she so richly deserves.
Warm regards,
Merisa Murray
From Mrs. Elliott in the Gym AMPED CHALLENGE
This week we start our AMPED Running Challenge - May 6 - 24. During the next 3 weeks,
students will be given opportunities to run as many laps as they can in order to earn plastic
feet tokens. In addition to running during Gym time, I would like to give them the
opportunity to run outside during their lunch recess. If any parents are able to help scan
QR cards during the lunch hours of 11:30 - 1:00, I could really use your help. Please see
the attached sign-up genius for times to volunteer and I will be in touch.
