Happy September MSA Families!
I am delighted to share our monthly newsletter with you! Each month, this newsletter will keep you updated on important school news, upcoming events, and highlights from all the exciting things happening in our school!
In this issue, you’ll find information about Pancakes with Pals happening this Friday, September 6th, the Cereal Drive going on through September 12 and no school September 13th!

As always, our doors are open, and we welcome any feedback or suggestions you may have. Together, we can continue to make this a fantastic year for our students.

All of our lions and their families are welcome to join us for delicious pancakes made by our very own, Miss Claire! Make sure and RSVP on Parent Square!

Cereal Drive Service Project

We are so excited to be kicking off our very first service project of the year! We will have two weeks to collect shelf stable breakfast items and then on September 12th we will all wear our PJs and our 3rd & 4th graders will deliver the items collected to the Fannin County Crisis Center. Items include shelf stable milk, cereal, oatmeal, and breakfast bars. This is a great time to have your child help shop for some of their favorites and share the importance of helping out in our community.

Leadership

So many of our lions started off the year by earning Leading Lion certificates! Way to go Lions!

Joyce was listening and helping her friends!

Nixon was working hard to complete his work!

Kinslee was being a helper in class!

Uriah was helping his teacher and being a leader in Extended Care!

Wes was helping a friend!

Wylder was being so kind and helping his friends!

Brynn and Olivia worked hard and showed endurance and perseverance during P.E.!

Isabelle was working hard and being a good listener!

Edgar was showing kindness to some little lions during morning Extended Care!

NO SCHOOL ON SEPTEMBER 13!

There is NO SCHOOL for our Pre-K 3- 4th Grade students! This is a normal day for our Toddler and Transitions classes! If you need for your child to attend for a fun day with Miss Zoey and Miss Mackenzie, please fill out the form on Parent Square. The drop in rate is $35 and will be billed through FACTS!

School Policies and Reminders

Don't forget these policies can be found in our Parent Handbook on Parent Square!

Drop-Off/Pick-Up: Please remember do NOT park in the covered lane during our peak drop off and pick up times. Those times are 7:30-8:10 a.m. and 2:45-3:15 p.m. If you need to come in, please park in the parking lot.

Dress Code: Patches are sold at the front office if you need extra!

Health and Safety: If your child is sick, please keep them home. This is for the health and safety of all of our staff and students.
