Summer Bridge Feedback
Annville and Cleona Elementary Schools want your feedback on the Summer Bridge program! In the past, this program has provided approximately three weeks of academic review to students invited to participate. This helped them to maintain skills learned throughout the year and remain connected to our school community during the summer months. This program will continue, but we are looking for ways to grow and expand, meeting the needs of more students and families. To do this, we would like feedback to help direct growth efforts. Please take a moment to complete the survey linked below. Thank you for your time and feedback.

School Spotlight
Mrs. Herman's fourth-grade class recently wrote odes. Odes are poems that praise (or criticize) something. Students wrote odes about pets and turtles. Others wrote about favorite foods - pickles, pizza, cookies, Dunkin' Donuts, and mac and cheese. Some students shared their love of soccer, basketball, VR goggles, books, and phones. One ode was even critical of mosquitos!
Mrs. Popejoy's third-grade class completed Junior Achievement lessons this week. Here, they are taking the information they learned to plan the layout of their own city!
Mr. Hitz accompanied these sixth graders to Quittapahilla Creek for a Red Ticket Experience of fishing during recess. They showed that hard work and following the Dutchmen Way pays off!
The A-C Kids Chorus continues to spread joy and magic in our community. Last week, they shared their gifts at Londonderry Village!
Mrs. McFeaters' third graders learned about volume this week. In small groups, they practiced applying what they learned and estimated and measured milliliters!
This friend was a Red Ticket Winner this week! As his reward for outstanding behavior, he chose to use Mrs. Hoover's chair for the day!
During STEAM, sixth-grade students are planting in the fork farms. We can't wait to see the outcome, and hopefully, we can use their crops in a dish that the class can enjoy!
A number of our fifth and sixth-grade students have volunteered to show their pride in our building through a service project. These dedicated students took time during their flex period to show care for some spaces that needed a little extra love this week!
