This week we reviewed author's purpose. We did many different activities to help us remember this skill including our first exit slip. We read different leveled books that talked about presidents/election and also wrote about the author's purpose. We pair read a story about Abraham Lincoln and discussed some important facts from the story. Finally, we continue to work on our nonfiction stories! Some of us have even completed our books!!!

In Math we finished our unit on double digit addition and started chapter four on subtraction using double digits.

In Social Studies we learned all about the election and how a president is elected. We will be having an election on Election Day where we will get to pick the president! This upcoming quarter we will be focusing on Science!!!
