Enhance student engagement and discover endless possibilities of teaching your students how to create, not just consume, using technology as their learning tool. This workshop will build your repertoire of resources to reach all learners, no matter what level of ability and provide you with several digital tools to support classroom management while increasing production and motivation.
Participants will learn about and be provided time to explore iPad apps and web-based resources like Do Ink, Apple Clips, Seesaw and ClassDojo to differentiate and customize instruction, while increasing student participation and motivation. This course will present materials best suited for ALL grade level, special education, special area and related service teachers and providers.
Not "tech savvy"? Not to worry! All participants will be provided time to explore each tool presented and leave with an expanded technology toolkit that can be integrated into the classroom with ease.

A: All participants are invited to bring their North Bellmore District iPads. Computers will be made available to all participants. Please contact us ahead of time if you do not have a North Bellmore issued iPad so we can ensure we have one available for you during the class.
Q: Do I need to be tech saavy to take this course?
A: Absolutely not. This course is designed for varying tech abilities. There will be hands on opportunities to explore and get comfortable with each of the tools presented in the course.
Q: Do I have to be currently teaching grades K-6 to attend?
A: This course will present materials geared towards all learners and can be adapted for any grade levels. In addition to classroom teachers, ERR, ILP, Resource Room, Speech, Reading, ENL and other special area teachers are invited to attend.
Q: Can I still take the course if I don't need the credits?
A: Yes! This course can be taken for 1 inservice credit or as an audit.
Q: How many spaces are available?
A: The course will be capped at 20 participants.
