Please make sure your children wear appropriate clothing to go outside for recess. Even though the temperatures are cold, we take them outside whenever possible as they need the fresh air and time to play during the day to get the wiggles out. This helps the students focus more when in the classrooms.

Thank you for making sure they are wearing closed toe shoes with socks, pants, and have jackets to go outside.

As we continue to strive for a smooth and productive start to each school day, we kindly remind you of our morning schedule. The first bell rings at 8:30 AM, signaling that it’s time for students to head to their classrooms. The tardy bell rings at 8:35 AM, marking the official start of the school day. It is essential for students to be in their classrooms and ready to begin by this time.

We understand that mornings can be busy and weather can be unpredictable. We appreciate your efforts in helping your children arrive on time. When students arrive after the tardy bell, it can disrupt the flow of morning routines and learning for both teachers and students.

Your help is crucial in ensuring that all students have a calm and focused start to their day. Let’s work together to make every morning a great beginning! Thank you for continuing to make Timber Trail the school "Where Hearts and Minds Connect."

Thank you so much to all of the 2nd & 4th Grade families who provided the delicious lunch for the staff on Wednesday. We are always so appreciate to have lunch that we don't have to pack for ourselves for a day. What a treat!

We are excited to share that our team will plunge on Saturday, March 15th in Colorado Springs. The Polar Plunge and 5k is one of the top fundraisers for Special Olympics Colorado. As a school sponsored unified team, we have the opportunity to fundraise money and have proceeds directly impact our program.

Congratulations to our very own Mr. Matt (Matt LeClaire, Director of our BASE Program). Matt is being recognized as the January Out of School Time Champion by the Colorado After School Partnership, and it is very well deserved. We are fortunate to have Matt as a member of our staff at TTE. Please see this awesome write up about Mr. Matt!
