FREE Driver Education Class

Driver Education Foundation for Teens (DEFT) has a program available to students (ages 14-18). This program will provide Phase 1 of Driver Education free of charge, thanks to our partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation.
The only requirement for this program is that the student must be identified, by the district or parent, as economically disadvantaged (ED), as defined by TEA. The parent (or school) can sign up by filling out the following form, and we will confirm with the contact from the school on the form, that the child meets the requirements. Once we have received that confirmation, we will enroll them in the course month they choose and they may begin then.
