Farewell & Summer Edition
Transition to Mr. James
I want to extend a sincere thank you to all of our parents who I have had the privilege to partner with during my tenure at Ridgeview. You have great kids and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know them. Whatever success we have as a school is reflective of your role in your child's education and your support of our work in school.
My last day of work will be June 7 and Mr. James starts his new position as principal on July 1st. He will wrap up his assistant principal duties the first week of June before taking some well-deserved time off. Mrs. Chambers will start her new role as assistant principal the first of August. Ridgeview is in great hands and the future is bright!
Thank you All!
Todd Jefferson

Summer at RES
There will be a lot of activity and work taking place at Ridgeview over the summer. Aside from our regular cleaning regiment, we will also be moving a few of our classrooms to new spaces. We have combined our teacher workroom and our teacher's lounge to create a new classroom for Mrs. Confort. Our BEST 2 classroom will be relocated to the end of our 3-5 hallway where our current 2-5 resource room is located. Mrs. Blayney will be taking a new role as a second ESL teacher at RES next year and will share a large classroom with Mrs. Waskow in the gym hallway. Mrs. Eppel will then relocate to Mrs. Waskow's current room in the 3-5 hallway. Each of our hallways are also receiving a facelift in the form of new lighting and a fresh coat of paint. This will really brighten our hallways. Our playground is also having all of the old mulch removed and replaced with new mulch. Ridgeview will also house the district elementary summer school programs. This begins on June 10 and continues through July 3.
