TE Athletics - What you need to know for the week or beyond.
Hello Tosa East Athletics!
This newsletter is to start the week with some reminders, to-do's and information condensed in one format. Or so I hope! There may be only a few things that may pertain to you or a lot, some that might repeat a few weeks in a row. But this way you have information about what's happening in Tosa East Athletics.

CURRENT SITUATION INFORMATION FOR EVERYONE
Everyone should still be "checking in" with your teams via email or virtual meetings. No coaching discussion, but you can speak to summer intentions. Most importantly it's to connect with the students in a time when you can't physically.
Nothing has been provided yet as guidelines for summer athletic activities that could start July 1 or the start of fall season. The district and the WIAA are working still on this and should have some information within the month. Still fill out your summer contact sheet for if we go ahead to do these activities we are set and/or then can adjust from there.

WIAA / Sport Rules Need to Know
Article VI – Nonschool Participation
Section 2 – Out-of-Season
-
It is the philosophy of this Association that athletes should not be unreasonably restricted, except during the actual school season of a sport. Subsequently, students may voluntarily assemble at any time without school and/or school coach involvement.
With school consent, in the summertime, members of a school’s team may voluntarily assemble with their teammates and coaches for purposes of instruction and/or competition for up to 5 days (do not need to be consecutive) in all WIAA sports sponsored by the school, without restriction.
Note: Whether an opportunity is school sponsored or not, coach contact outside the actual school season may not exceed Board of Control approved contact days.
Upcoming Sporting Events - HOME GAMES
