MAP TESTING

The MAP test results at HLA are outstanding, with 97% of students performing better than the national average. This is a great achievement that reflects the dedication of both the students and teachers at HLA. The high scores are the result of hard work and a positive learning environment created by both the students and teachers. HLA is committed to providing the best education possible, and the MAP test results are evidence of their success. Everyone at HLA is proud of these results and is excited to continue improving in the future.

QUR'AN COMPETITION

We are pleased to inform our community that HLA students recently participated in a Quran competition, both within and outside the school, and demonstrated their impressive skills. In the in-school competition, Betul Balaman and Ahmet Celebi emerged as the winners, and we are proud of their exceptional performance. The upcoming competition on April 16th will see our students showcase their skills in reciting the selected surah الحشر on page 545. We urge all parents to support their children in practicing and preparing for this competition. Our students have a proven track record of excelling in such events, and we are confident that they will continue to do so. At HLA, we believe in nurturing the talents of our students, and we are committed to providing them with opportunities to showcase their skills. We wish all our participants the very best of luck and look forward to their success in the upcoming competition.

SEERAH FAIR

We are excited to announce our upcoming Seerah Fair, which will take place at the beginning of April 4, 2023, at our school. This event is an excellent opportunity for our students to learn more about the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and to explore the significance of his teachings in our daily lives. We invite all parents to join us in celebrating this special occasion and to witness the hard work and creativity of our students as they showcase their projects and presentations. This is an event you won't want to miss, and we hope to see you there!

HLA FAMILY IFTAR

We would like to thank all the parents who joined us for the iftar dinner on April 4th. It was a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together, share traditional foods and drinks, and learn more about the significance of Ramadan. We appreciate everyone's contribution to the success of this event, including our teachers, students, and staff. We hope that the iftar dinner was a memorable and meaningful experience for all who attended, and we look forward to more events like this in the future. MULTICULTURAL FAIR

Horizon Leadership Academy's Multicultural Fair will be held on Wednesday, April 26th from 4:00-6:00 pm. This event is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore and celebrate the diverse cultures represented in our school community. The fair will feature interactive workshops, delicious foods, and cultural performances from around the world. Our goal is to promote cultural awareness and understanding among our students and to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. We invite all parents to join us at the Multicultural Fair and to support our efforts in fostering a community that values diversity and embraces cultural differences.

NEW ENROLLMENT

The Horizon Leadership Academy is excited to announce the enrollment period for new students. In March, new students' families are encouraged to complete the enrollment process for the upcoming academic year. The enrollment process can be completed online. We are looking forward to welcoming our new students and are committed to providing them with the best education possible.
