Updates from Señor Hall for Spanish 1
Spanish 1 w/ Señor Hall
¡Buenas tardes! ~ Good afternoon!
Its the Final Countdown!! There are only 2 weeks left in our Spanish 1 Course. Some students are already done! And some students have a long way to go. Please check in your Grades tab and review the "TOTAL" column. Please work on making up any work if you have it. As always, feel free to reach out to me via email, calls, texts or Canvas Messages with questions about your academic progress. You are not bothering me. :) Yo soy tu profesor de español. I am here to help you learn Spanish and technology skills. Please don't ever hesitate to ask me any questions that you have about the course. :)
Schedule of Assignments
Please review the Schedule of Assignments so that you turn in as much work as possible.
Final project & Exam
There is a Final Exam and a Final Project for the end of the Semester. Students should complete BOTH for full credit. This Final Assessment is 20% of the Final Grade so it is key to Academic Success.
Feel free to contact me to discuss any concerns that you may have. Best.

_____ Proyecto Final (FE): Required Live Class (any day during weeks 17 - 18 - See RLC Calendar)
Required Live Class (RLC) Schedule
The purpose of the Required Live Classes (RLC) is to give students access to their teachers for lessons, Q & A and support in their Spanish classes. The RLC sessions are offered every week at a variety of times. You may attend any session you like. Choose the one that best fits your schedule.
Here is a Google Calendar link to all the Spanish 1 sessions:
Just pay attention to the times, dates and topics:
Remember GS = Getting Started
U1 = Unit 1
U2 = Unit 2
After attending each session, you need to complete a brief reflective assignment including the following items:
When did you attend (provide date and time)?
Who was the teacher/presenter?
What did you cover/learn? (You should include a complete copy of your notes with at least 10 specific things discussed/covered.)
What do you still have questions about? (You should always have questions, so do NOT put "none.")
What do you need to work on/improve? (This should be specific, regarding at least one thing that was discussed in the session.)
How do you plan to improve in the area/s listed above? (Again, be as specific as possible.)
How can I (your teacher) help you? (Again, be as specific as possible.)
Please use COMPLETE SENTENCES in your responses and submit this at the bottom of the RLC Assignment page.
