Facilities Master Plan Feedback Survey Coming Soon
Zion Elementary School District 6 is in the process of developing a Facilities Master Plan that focuses on the district's buildings to ensure they are supporting our goals and objectives. In the coming weeks, we will be seeking your opinion of our school buildings relating to the following categories:
- physical condition
- how well the buildings support educational and administrative processes
- capacity as it relates to changes in population over time
Families, staff, and students in grades 3-8 will be provided the opportunity to share their opinions. The outcome of the Facilities Master Plan analysis will be a roadmap for the future to ensure the facilities adequately support student success.

Parent-Teacher Conferences
Thank you to everyone who attended the parent-teacher conferences on Thursday and Friday across ZESD 6. It was a wonderful opportunity for staff and families to come together in support of our students' success, explore future educational opportunities, and strengthen connections throughout the district. Your participation makes a difference!
Spotted At ZESD 6
Clockwise from the upper left corner:
- West students have been doing a fantastic job during the first semester, earning Cat Cash for demonstrating respect, responsibility, safety, and kindness. They used the Cat Cash they earned on Friday to participate in their first quarter Harvestfest Celebration, which had a large selection of activities, including Minute to Win It games, quiet reading, and crafts.
The 7th-grade science classes at Shiloh Park learned about cells, organelles, and cell theory. They created 3-D displays and group posters to showcase how each organelle worked together. The students gave presentations to their peers, teaching each other about cells and organelles.
- The Cooking with Arbor program continued with a hot, homemade tomato soup for a cooling October. Zion Central students from all grade levels participated in creating the savory dish. The next day, the student body sampled their soup during lunch.
- Beulah Park Elementary held a vibrant celebration of Hispanic heritage on Tuesday evening. The event occurred on the street in front of the school and featured fantastic food trucks and a lively Hispanic dance group. Attendees enjoyed delicious food, engaging performances, and a wonderful community atmosphere.
