This week, BJH is celebrating Teacher & Staff Appreciation week. On Friday our PTO is hosting a lunch for our fabulous staff. CAASPP testing will take place April 29- May 6, 2024. It is extremely important for all students to be on time. Students who arrive after testing begins will be held in the front office of an alternate room until Snack begins which is at 10:00 a.m. Please see the testing schedule below. Parents of 8th grade students. This is the last week to purchase Knott's Berry Farm tickets. Friday is the last day, no exceptions. Please see the flyer below for more details.

8th Grade Parents: Promotion and the 8th grade award ceremony is coming up in May. Information with specific details will be provided to families in an upcoming newsletter. Families who will be invited to the awards ceremony will receive an invitation to the event.

Lastly, the month of May is Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. This is a month where we recognize the contributions of Asian American and Pacific Islanders to music, art, academics, etc. Look for an informational video in the weekly newsletter each week.

8th grade parents: Please click the link below to access information about the 8th grade Knott's Berry Farm trip. Only students who qualify may attend. Should your student not be able to attend, their name will be on the ineligibility list and they will not be able to purchase a ticket/transportation. If your student is removed from the trip due to not meeting criteria after ticket purchase, they will not attend and can use the ticket purchased for another day. No cash refunds will be provided.
