COLLEGE GRAD
It's not every day a student graduates from college before they graduate from high school, but that's exactly what #PointerNation's own Quinten Kite has done! Throughout Quinten's Senior year of high school, he attended Southwest Tech full time, enrolled in the Building Trades/Construction program. Quinten graduated from SWTC before graduating from high school! This opportunity is possible through the Start College Now program. Congrats!
AVENUE OF FLAGS
Another great Pointer tradition we take pride in is, on Memorial Day Weekend, having our students assist the American Legion and VFW with the assembly of hundreds of Mineral Point veterans' flags buried in our city cemeteries. The Avenue of Flags is a beautiful sight as we remember those who defended our freedoms.

ALL-SPORTS CODE OF CONDUCT MEETING
Hello Current 8-11th Grade Pointer Families --
New this year, the MPHS Athletic Department will be holding an All-Sports Code of Conduct Meeting Wednesday, June 5 in the cafeteria at 5 pm.
This is for any Mineral Point High School parent/guardian, and their student-athlete, who is interested in participating in any WIAA sport we offer during the 2024-25 school year including:
Fall: Boys Soccer, Cross Country, Football, and Volleyball.
Winter: Basketball, Gymnastics, and Wrestling.
Spring: Baseball, Girls Soccer, Golf, Softball, and Track & Field.
This meeting is meant to inform students and parents of the Code of Conduct, sports offerings, introduce coaches, and hand out paperwork so everyone is prepared for summer and can come back ready to go in the fall!
While in-person attendance is encouraged, we also plan to video the meeting for those who can't make it that evening.
