Elayna Handley is a 7th grader and she has also been going to Dryden her whole life. Elayna is in drama club, band, and track. Outside of school, she likes to read. Elayna’s dream career is to be a Broadway actress or a middle school math teacher. Elayna is looking forward to graduating from high school.

Raghan DeLong is a freshman who has been going to Dryden for 5 years. She played volleyball in the 7th and 8th grade, and this year she played softball. Raghan’s favorite thing about Dryden is how small it is and “everyone has a big heart and everyone is there for each other”. Outside of school, her favorite thing to do is to hang out with friends, and she also likes to fish in her free time. She also likes to spend time with her family and hang out outdoors. Her dream career is to go to college for public safety of some type, like EMS, police, or a firefighter.

There will be an informational meeting for the 2025 class trip to Washington DC on Thursday, May 30th, at 5:00 pm in the high school library. All students that attend with their guardian will be entered in a drawing to win a $125 scholarship toward the cost of their trip. Info about summer fundraising will also be discussed.

We are going to states!

This Saturday, in Hudsonville, MI, 10 athletes will be competing in the Division 4 finals. those people are Aiden Fitchett in the 1600 meter run, Olivia Reynolds in the 200 meter dash and 400 meter dash, Ava DeVlaminck in discus, Sophia Peter in the 100 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles, Delaney Wolle, Sophia Peter, Keira Miller, and Olivia Reynolds in the 4x200 meter relay, Delaney Wolle, Sophia Peter, Caila Fitchett, and Olivia Reynolds in the 4x400 meter relay, and Caila Fitchett, Lily Finnigan, Audrey Napolitano, and Cara Prsakiewisz in the 4x800 meter relay.
