Welcome from Your PTA President
Hello, Ball's Bluff families!
What an amazing start to the school year! We've had a fantastic few weeks, and I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has already signed up for PTA membership. Your support means so much to our school community!
A special shoutout as well, to everyone who ordered spirit wear – it’s been wonderful to see the school pride shining through! We also had an incredible turnout at the Welcome Back Picnic, and I hope everyone who came had a great time connecting with friends, new and old. I also wanted to give a huge congratulations to Charlotte Yeglic, our lucky winner of the VIP parking spot!
Looking ahead, please join us for our first PTA General Session meeting of the school year on Thursday, September 19th! This is a great opportunity to hear about all the exciting events coming up.
Hope you and your children have a fantastic week! Go Tigers!
Rachel Wallace
Balls Bluff PTA, President
Membership
THANK YOU for your continued support! As of Friday, we reached our goal of 200 members! Together we have far surpassed membership numbers from last year. We hope you will join us this Thursday at our General Session Meeting.
Fall 2024 After School Programs
Our ASP registration has closed. Classes will begin on 9/24 and 9/26. Emails will be coming soon regarding dismissal instructions, as well as procedures for reporting absences.
We would like to give a special shoutout to Marsha Kelly, our volunteer ASP Chair, for ALL of her hard work and for keeping everything organized!
Spirit Night - Spitz @ Village at Leesburg, 9/18
Let's get out and support another one of our local businesses, Spitz, THIS Wednesday, September 18th from 5-7 PM. Get some fresh, healthy, and delicious Mediterranean food at Spitz, located in the Village at Leesburg. Spitz will donate 20% of your purchase back to BBES. Mention “Ball’s Bluff PTA” in person, or use code TIGER when ordering online.
PTA General Session Meeting-September 19, 6 PM
BBES is still collecting money through the school e-wallet to make sure EVERY child may purchase a book at our book fair. According to Mrs. Gonzalez, "We have raised enough money to get books into the hands of about 20% of our students!" If you are in a position to donate, we challenge you to do so. Every donation, big or small, helps spread the love of reading. Let's do what Tigers do best and help our community!

BBES Partnership with Loudoun Hunger Relief (LHR)
Thank you for partnering with the BBES PTA to support those in our community in need of food by transporting donatable food recovered in the cafeteria to Loudoun Hunger Relief (LHR), a food pantry in our community. This school year our goal is to increase our student body's understanding of donatable food, hunger in our community, and the impact of food waste through the Morning Show and providing information to teachers for potential use in the classroom. We will be tracking our weekly LHR donations and using this data as a way of educating and reinforcing our students doing good work by donating food that would otherwise be trashed. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0848AAAA2CAAFDC25-50040080-loudoun#/
