A big congratulations to all of the students who participated in the Wizard of Oz production by our Drama Club. Thank you to Mrs. Paquin and Miss Casale for their leadership and efforts in bringing over 40 students together for a production that had folks in the audience smiling all the way home.

A great visit to 5th grade classrooms this week with Dr. Maruszczak. We got to see these students discussing the difference between rotation and revolution in their Earth Science Unit. The kids did a great job sorting aspects of these terms using conversation starters that focused their debate and helped them argue using evidence.

With the snow we experienced over the weekend, please know that students will be able to go sledding or play in the snow during recess provided they are dressed in snowpants, boots, and coats. Hats and gloves are also recommended. We also welcome any donations of sleds for students to share.

In 7C's students in 6th grade are creating a news paper called Knight News. Check out the creation by Mrs. Gould's class. Find out what is on the minds of our 6th graders. Take a survey and even learn the latest slang your kids are using. It's all here in Knight News!

Due to the number of students who suffer with food allergies, please do not send in food based Valentines. A kind note, stickers, pencils, etc are always appreciated. 💗

Our Math Facts Super Bowl has been rescheduled for this Friday, February 14th. There will be no WINN to accommodate the event and students are encouraged to wear Oak Ridge gear or colors, or that of their favorite NFL team.

What: "Drive-in" Movie Night. Create your own mini "car" to watch the movie in or bring a beach chair to sit on!

Extended School Year Services or EYS for certain students with IEPs will be held later this summer. ESY services will be held from July 21st - August 4th. Please plan accordingly.
