Meet the Principal!
Family Edition: Back-to-School 2024-2025
Hello, Coolidge Cougar Families!
I would like to personally welcome you to "Back-to-Schooluary" which marks the start of a new and exciting academic year at Calvin Coolidge Elementary School! As your new principal, it is my pleasure to extend my cougar paw and welcome our returning students and families, as well as those who are new to our school community.
Our whole-child theme for the 2024-25 school year is “We’ve Got S.W.A.G --Students Who Achieve Greatness!” 🙌 At Coolidge, we are committed to cultivating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for student learning. Our vision is to grow leaders who contribute to shaping a future of innovation and excellence.
Coolidge believes that strong partnerships between home and school are essential to student success. We encourage you to stay involved and connected throughout the school year. Here are a few ways you can participate:
- Attend School Events: Join us for Open House, parent-teacher conferences, and other special events throughout the year.
- Volunteer Opportunities: Consider volunteering your time and talents to support classroom activities, school events, and PTA initiatives.
- Communication: Stay informed by regularly checking PowerSchool, our district and school website, reading our newsletters, and following us on Facebook.
Our first day of school is Wednesday, August 21st, 2024. Student arrival begins at 8:15am, and we are looking forward to seeing all of our students’ smiling faces. If you have not yet had an opportunity to register for the 2024-25 school year, registration reopens on Thursday, August 1st. There is more information regarding registration at the bottom of this newsletter.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. Together, we will make this year a successful and rewarding experience for all –where every child is a Student Who Achieves Greatness!
