Dear Parents and staff:
On Wednesday, Ms. Dwire and our third grade students performed their Michigan Music Concert. Families enjoyed hearing songs like “I Never Will Sail,” “The Mackinac Bridge,” the Great Lakes Song,” and more. The children sang with such energy and enthusiasm, it was infectious!
May 6-10th is staff appreciation week. This week has been full of fun and food! I want to take a moment and acknowledge the vital role our Patterson Elementary staff members play in making our school the amazing place it is. Your tireless efforts to educate, inspire, and support our students does not go unnoticed. Thank you for your patience and kindness. Thank you for making our school a place where our students feel welcome, valued, and respected.
This Sunday, May 12th, is Mother's Day! I want to express my gratitude for all the amazing mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures in our school community. Thank you for volunteering for school fundraising, in our classrooms, attending school events, and providing endless encouragement and guidance to your children! I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day, surrounded by love and joy.
