We are looking for house shirts your student has outgrown! Please bring to Ms. Church for a chance to pick out of the prize bin! Shirts will continue to be accepted and collected throughout the school year. Reach out to Ms. Church with any questions.

School Policy on electronic devices
Important Information on an updated school policy:
All non-school issued devices -“Elementary school students are not permitted to possess or use portable electronic communication devices while on Dorchester County Public School property or while attending any school activities. School office phones are available for those students who may need to contact a parent or guardian”.
This means that none of our HES students will be allowed to bring cell phones or any portable electronic device to school or on the bus. If students are found to have a phone, smart watch or any other electronic device at school, this will be the process which we follow:
- 1st Offense: the phone/smart watch/ electronic device will be confiscated and parent/guardian will be contacted to pick up the device.
- 2nd Offense: follow 1st offense PLUS an after-school detention
- 3rd Offense: follow 1st offense PLUS parent conference requested.
***This has been our policy since the first day of school, however we have changed the wording to state "All non-school issued devices"
No type of smart watch is allowed on the bus or in school!
No phones are allowed on the bus or in school!
If for some reason a student needs to contact an adult, they may go to the main office and ask.
Any type of electronic device that was not issued by our school system is not allowed on the bus or in the school!
