Last week, we wrapped up the cell and worked to understand the structure of the cell membrane. This week, we will continue to learn specifically about the cell membrane and how it functions to allow for substances to move into and out of the cell. We will even examine an egg as our example of how cells work!

I am a Nationally Board Certified Science Teacher with 12 years of teaching experience in North Carolina. I am also a wife to my husband of 12 years and a mother to 5 children ages 10, 8, and 6, 5, and 4. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, serving within our church, I love spending time with my family, reading, playing my flute, and running.
