DRIVE-IN MOVIE THIS FRIDAY
This Friday is our once-a-semester drive-in movie. Bring your car, lawn chair, and/or blankets to the drive-in movie on Friday, November 15 at 7:30PM. There will be plenty of snacks for you and your friends to enjoy! We’re playing The Nightmare Before Christmas,. You won’t want to miss this!
Get there early for a prime spot. Dress warm, and bring that Academic Pin slip to trade in for a free snack.

Good luck to Girls Volleyball who begin their run in State Playoffs today. They host the Academy of Our Lady of Peace from San Diego TODAY at HOME at 6PM. Go Bears!
As Girls Volleyball keeps things going, it's time for our Winter teams to get going. This Saturday, Boys Basketball tips off their season with ALL GOLD EVERYTHING. It's a fun meet the team event. Be there.
TRYOUTS
Freshman Baseball tryouts start Tuesday and run until Thursday right after school on the Varsity Baseball field.
Softball tryouts are happening on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday this week. If you have any questions you can stop by and talk with Coach Force in Room 1116.
You must be cleared through Athletics to participate and try out.
On Thursday, Novemeber 14 the counseling department will be hosting an Athletic Parent Night to answer questions about playing sports in college. It's a very informative night for families of any students thinking about continuing their athletic career at the next level.
If you're looking to attend any athletic events, look no further than GOFAN. All tickets are online, but if you're a students and you've got that GOLD CARD you've got FREE entrance to all home athletic events.

As the 40th Anniversary continues we're repping our club, activity or sport this Friday. Come on out to the Culinary Quad on Friday as well for multiple performances and some fun. We're proud to be a Bear. Wear your brown and gold and show the world.
THE MARVELOUS SHOW (11/20)
Next Wednesday at 6PM, TVUSD hosts the annual MARVELOUS SHOW starring students from Chaparral, Great Oak, and TV's special education programs. This extremely fun event features formal wear, talents, and golden opportunities to get to know all of the performers. The event is completely free. You will not be disappointed. It's the most marvelous evening of the year.

COLLEGE SHIRT DAY ON WEDNESDAY & MORE!
This Wednesday is COLLEGE SHIRT DAY! Be ready for a college-related trivia question at the beginning of each period. If your class calls in first with the answer they just might win.
Of course, youv'e got to check out all the upcoming lunchtime activities. Join the fun every Friday in the quad.
And starting on Wednesday it's the 7-on-7 Flag Football Intramural tournament happening at the JV softball field. You can come check out the games each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Clubs are meeting every day at Lunch. If you're looking for someting to do check out the list find out when the next meeting is happening that interests you. Click on the link and peruse the full list. You'll find information about when and where they'll be meeting. Club reps are always excited to have new members. We've also got new clubs always forming.
Ever wanted to learn about investing? The WEALTH WIZARDS is a club all about investing and they have meetings during Lunch in Room 707 every other Thursday. The club will teach you what stocks are, how to search for good investment opportunities, how to find the intrinsic value of a company, and general investing.
COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
CAMPUS CLEANUP / ADV / EVERY TUESDAY
Every Tuesday during ADV we're setting aside some time to beautify our campus and pick up trash. You and your friends can volunteer to help out. Each interested students should complete the form right HERE, by the end of the day on Monday. You'll receive an Intervention/Advisement pass on 5-Star. Show your teacher and make your way to the steps of the 600 Building to sign-in and grab your materials (gloves and trash bag). You can make an immediate difference while also earning 30 minutes of community service.

You can also help the Temecula Sheriff's Department help the community by bringing in food and canned goods for our community all week. Drop them off in Room 201 or at the shopping carts each morning at the entrance gates. You'll receive 2 community service hours.
Looking for an easy way to get community service hours? Bear-y Special Teachers club is hosting a school supply drive November 4-15. Drop off your donations to Room 1116 to receive an easy 2-hours of community service.
If you have gently used pants with no holes, rips, or stains please consider donating them to Jeans 4 Teens. Senora Downey is collecting in the 600 Building. All items will be delivered to the Youth Hope Foundation during Thanksgiving Break. Remember to bring your community service form when dropping off donations.
COLLEGE & CAREER CENTER PRESENTATIONS
The college presentations continue in the College & Career Center. These are the perfect opportunity to learn more about the options for you beyond high school. Ask you questions, meet representatives from the respective organizations, and get more specifics about both what it's like and how to get in. PEER TUTORING
Peer tutoring is a great opportunity to help raise grades and improve learning skills. Everyday during ADVISEMENT students can scan click HERE and come get help in any subject needed at the Library. We have a variety of friendly tutors who are knowledgeable on every subject to help you learn in a way that’s best for you and it's completely FREE.
